The Secular Student Alliance empowers secularists to proudly express their identity, build welcoming communities, promote secular values, and set a course for lifelong activism.

We envision a future in which secularists lead meaningful and fulfilling lives, thrive as valued members of society, and provide visionary leadership committed to humanistic ideals and critical inquiry.

Morehead State University's affiliate of the national non-profit organization Secular Student Alliance was founded to show the citizens of Morehead that one doesn't require religion in order to be an honorable community member. 

Together, we work to advocating reason, science, & secular values in Morehead, KY as well as provide a secular safe-zone for atheists, agnostics, & their allies.

By becoming a member, you are joining a nation-wide network of secular activists working to:
• Normalize secular identity
• Engage in activism for secular causes
• Educate others about religion and secular worldviews
• Enact your secular values through service

Meetings for the Fall 2017 semester are Thursdays at 6pm in Rader 222.
