The Tunnel of Oppression is an interactive “museum” that can include but is not limited to skits, theatrical performances, artifacts on the walls, ETC.

The goal of The Tunnel of Oppression is to: provide underrepresented students an opportunity to express their lived realities and experiences of systemic oppression, educate on the systemic nature of oppression and its impact on dominant and non-dominant groups, construct an evolving project that meets the needs of students and create awareness about the intersections of oppression.

SSA participated in the Tunnel of Oppression to show people the experiences and prejudices that the nonreligious face.
